Built Ford Tough

Hey, I have a 98 stang with 140,000 miles. I got it for a grand and I have had it for about a year. Now that I am making a good amount of money I am wondering is it worth it to continue modding? Or am I going to soon have some problems. My mods currently are a CAI, Headlights, Foglights, Rims, and a system. I am a little scared to buy pullies, gears, exhaust ect. because I dont know how reliable the engine is. She is running perfectly but I am asking for advice on wether I should start modding the engine or if I should save for a 99 cobra. Thanks a lot.

take care of it and it will be fine. brat the hell out of it and your car is known for head gasket issues.

I say save for the Cobra. I did the v6 to a v8 change, and man was it night and day. There are so many differences that it is amazing. Like having abs...is amazing.

save yo cash . you willl love a cobra. if you can go for an o3 o4 you will be happy

or you can drop a new motor in for around 3 grand and exhaust sell it to some kid as a high performance car totally jack the price up and see if you can make money... or drive it through college then but a termi after wards

Thank you, I really am leaning towards saving a cobra because i think if i sold my stang now I would break even, or possibly make a profit. Oh, and as tempting as it is, I think i am gonna have to pass on the bus, unless I can put some flowmasters on her.

i would just save b/c by the time u get all yr mods the money u spend there with what you spent on yr car now will equal the cobra. proabbly anyways
