HELP! Air Conditioning Venting Problems!!

Today my car randomly decided to not let the A/C come out of the vents toward the passengers, it will only come out of the defrost vents no matter what I turn the dial to. I also think its on the Norm A/C instead of MAX A/C because its not as cold as it usually gets. PLEASE HELP!!! We have a baby on the way and this is our only car with A/C and really can't afford to buy another car. Its a 1995 V6 if that helps.

your flux capacitor is broken.

but seriously...try recharging your a/c system first... buy a can of it at an auto store..

if that doesn't work come on back and let us know

Like HMUSN said, check the flux capicitor. No seriously, there could be a badger stuck in the venting somewhere, so be carefull. If thats not it and your husband checked the lines, do the recharge thing. Your simptoms are strange though with no air coming out the vent at all. Could there be something clogging it? That may be whats causing the A/C to not blow enough air and feel not as cool. OR, worse case, the blower motor is on its way out ... thats where Id put my money.

And most importantly, congratulations about having a baby soon! Hope you can get it working ok!!!

The air is coming out, just on the defrost. What is the flux capacitor?

OMG. Im so sorry. HMUSN is an IDIOT and so am I. Its a joke, unless you drive the Delorean from "Back to the Future".

It doesnt sound like the motor if air is still coming out. El Cangri knows this stuff. It could be the vent switch.

Thats what we were thinking that maybe it is an electrical problem with the knob or something. Haha, I was searching on google for the flux thing and thats all that came up!

hmm...

i think the vents maybe closed...

cause if u noticed when u change the knob position it takes some time for the vent to open... it could be that.. vent not opening
