what gears can i get for a v6 auto

I just wanted to know what ratio gears i should get for my v6 auto mustang I've heard 4:10's are a good choice. Let me know what you guys think and let me know if any of you guys have 4:10's on your auto v6.

for an auto get 4.10 and remember to get them for a 7.5" rear end. when i decide to im gonna get 3.73 for my manual or whatever size they were for a manual i cant remember. but def 4.10 for an auto

yeah you can go 3.73 (less intense) 4.10 (intense) 4.56(sick) be shure to pick up a posi and a new pinion bearing if your going to go for it. you will raise your revs with gears(bad on gas milege)(a lil harder on the drivetrain)(lower top). o and if you have more than 60k miles you want to replace all the bearings and shims.

mine has 115k miles

get some 4.10s for the auto

goober u can use 4.10s but its a bitch cause 1st its just a heartbeat (14-18mph)

and then u have to shift soo much... its not my style

we have 3.27s so everything higher is great improvement

but just remember from the factory it came with 3.27 so everything is set up to work prefectly with 3.27's

yeah speedo will run higher but u can fix it with a handheld like sniper or SCT
