I have a 2001 v6 mustang....What muffler should I get...I already 40 series flowmasters....but the dont make any sound until you like really step on it....I want something that will sound badass and deliver sound the moment I hit the gas....

its called a Cammed V8....remember you drive a V6...and its not a Grand National V6 motor either...how bad ass do you wanna be when you drive a car most high school girls have...not to mention are just as fast

you need to get long tube headers and and bigger cam... no cats and an H pipe

thats how you will get a good sound and maybe a tune and a few do it yourself mods will give it a good sound

Pony, you never sugar coat anything. Thats admirable. I agree with what you say because if he wants a really mean sound, its not going to happen in a V-6. However like One Man says, you can make a substantial improvement with a little $$ and time.

I always suggest serching the internet for sound clips. Theres tons of them. when you find what you like, emulate it. If you dont find something you can live with for the money, SELL the car cuz your SOL.
