Isnt there the little "pull strip" thing behind it? I dont know for sure on a 97 but on an 04 there is a strip that runs behind it and holds it in place. You pull up on it and it comes out unlocking the whole housing.

not on the sn95. there are screws holding the headlamp assy. and turn signal assy. in place. they come out separately.

that seems to make more sense keeping them seperate. Im assuming you can buy them seperate too then. Thats gotta keep cost down if you need to replace.

hmm let's see if i remember right...

open up your hood, on top of each of the headlights there are these black plastic covers that are held down by some kind of pins (I dont know what they're called), you can just pull them right out with a hammer (like that side of it you would use to pull out a nail).
This opens up the back of your headlights. there is a single bold holding the corner light, with a nut holding it in place. use a ratchet or wrench to remove the nut. This will allow you to simply pull the corner light out. Pull it out to the side of the car, not in front of it...it might in there pretty good but just keep pulling, it WILL come out, even if you're scared you're gona break something.
Now with the corner light out of the way, this leaves more room for pulling out the headlights (im pretty sure it wont work unless you takeout the corner light first).
k this parts really hard to explain...there are screws on the headlights that go into holes in the frame, but they're not held on with a nut, they're held on with this black plastic clip sort of thing. these are just behind the headlights. you need to squeeze the sides of the clip to make it smaller so that it will slip out through. it can be a really bitch...just feel around on them and you should be able to figure out what i mean.

hope this helps...just remember when you put them back in, be very careful to not push them in too hard because then those black clips will break and itll be loose forever, which sucks. this happened to me but i was lucky in the sense that i was replacing them and so i had the old clips to replace them with. I really dont know if "clip" is the proper term for this, im just throwing words around...

oh oh i know this one... oh boy i have been waiting for this chance... okay do you have the new head lights?

look at them you will see three lil idk prongs with black tabs on the end... bad way to describe it but thats all i got... examine the black tabs... they are springs per se... what you gotta do is clamp the lil sides that kick out that way you can slide the light assy. out ... now before you do the main lights if you pull the side blinkers out first it will be so much easier... most of its simple... but i would suggest a chilton... thats what got me through it all
