First of all how do I change a fuel filter...second of all I can go to jiffy lube and get a free oil change, so should I do that or would it be worth it to buy some royal purple and do it myself
fuel filter is simple...takes longer to lift the rear...u need to buy the tool...check pep boys... u may see 2 that are simlar...but its the tool with the smaller clamps
i'll get some pictures but its simple as hell. the fuel filter is a bit sketchy if you've never done it b4 and dont; knwo how to use the plastic clips. but i could give yeah a little picture demo tomorrow haha i got nothing better to do
ok
the oil nut should be in front of the tranny behind the k member. its the only bolt thats by itself facing down. and its facing toward your passenger tire kinda...its like directly behind the tire but in the middle of the car
fuel filter you will need the tool to take it off like 02 said, its damm near impossible to take it out with our breaking anything
the fuel filter is Right in front of your gas tank on the fuel line...and behind the rear end im sure.
a royal purple oil change is about $50 with the oil filter
you dont need it...plus is a full synthetic oil...once you use it you must use synthetic oil from then on. your car wont really benifit from the royal purple.
also K&N oil filters are very good. i prefer them over mobil1 or any brand. my oil has never been so clean for so long
I gotta change the fuel filter because its been a really long time and its overdue...and it seems to be the reason for my cars most recent problem of not accelerating when third gear starts...and thanks for the replies...ill tackle oil tomorrow
oil is a snap... fuel is a pain... i took mine in to grahms and they were like... okay here you go and charged me $50 bucks... i was like... damn i could have gotten tools and **** on top of the filter for 50 bucks ... oops
