ls1 will rule like it did before only it'll be the ls2
from what im hearing the ls2 cant compare to the way the ls1 engines were

if the camaro designers waste time to making a 245hp v6...ford v6's are done for

stock cars IMO are getting to much hp striaght from the factory...soon a GT will have 500hp out the door and the camaro will fire back with 600hp..

then saleens will be at what...bugatti status...1000hp

plus ford is just gonna make a 350hp GT that just weighs more then the last GT
i'm with ya... every gen get more h.p and get more heavy wich sux...

i cant imagine stangs and maros in 20 years more.. ford would make like a 800 h.p G.T in 2027 then chevy a 900 Maro with an LS15.. Then bugatti would make an WW32 engine lol that would be fun... the car would have double everything 8 turboes 4 v8s motors would be crazy..

for all those guys that dont know the bugatti has a W16 motor wich stands out for 2 v8's (v8+v8=w16 ) and it Quad T has a pretty motor

hp numbers wont get that high, there will b another drop off in horsepower im guessin around 2015 the gts will have less power than todays, and the electric cars will be a bigger thing

I think we're kinda crazy for talking about the new camaros, history will repeat itself -

Chevy will > ford

Just pray they don't do the whole SS/Z28 supercharged version, because then not ONLY with the vette be owning the gt500, so will the camaro...

And if they make a H.O. v6 like their planning on doing maybe ford will drop that 3.5L that makes like 260, and make the GT have 350/400hp...

come on guys think about it. why did classic cars become classic cars???? better, newer cars came out.

did this kill the older cars? no, they became "classics" or "collectors" cars!

granted mine is an 04 so it's not to old, but you guys with 94, 95, 96es, and 97s! your cars are older than 10 years old! 10 years from now those are classic cars, keep them and, keep them as fast as you can get them and eventually you'll drive your car down the street and no one will care if it was as fast as the 2008 Camaro! they'll say, "wow, i havn't seen one of those in years!!" Kids will ask "Daddy! what's that?" and you can drive by with your head up knowing that you may not be as fast as a 2008 or newer camaro, but in the coming years, you'll be far more respected.

Yeah the camaro died but I mean think about it you had the pontiac trans am which was just basically the same car with different looks competeing with it. Then chevy had the corvette. If their was never a trans am the Camaro probably would have never died out...

And I was talking horsepower. I mean look how old the LT-1's were and they still owned the "new edge" gt's.... I wonder how it felt to buy a 99 mustang GT 5speed and get owned buy your friends LT-1 camaro, and then the LS1 just walk buy you like your standing still lol.....

This doesnt mean that 94 through 97 are gonna be classics, i mean come on, maybe the shelby gt 500 cobra super snake will be a classic way down the road, maybe standard gt500, and the base gt models, not all cars grow up to become classics, only a few mustangs are considered in the category of even being classic,

Fusions are pretty cool though, not gonna lie, Mustang is still better, i dont care if chevy is gonna rape honda bad, i got my mustang cause i love mustangs, v6 sure but you can build shit up, im just be happy driving down the road in my mustang no matter what,....cept if my license play said GAY on it like in gooberheads avatar.....

As this maybe true, look what Chevy has to do..... "Back to the drawing table boys!!!" Its a shame they have to keep discontinuing thier cars and bring them back years later just to find better ways to out do the competition.
