Heater Core Replacement


I need help i am replacing the heater core in my 1997 mustang and I can't figure out how to get to it! I know its stupid but i an the only one who is fixing it and i am lost! please help instructions would be great!

you need to remove your entire dash to get to it.

You should really have the factory shop manual for a job this complex.

Perhaps someone from this forum could fax you the pages.

I have the manual for a 99 if that would help.

I just replaced the one in my 94 2 weeks ago without a book & did it in like 5 hrs.

Thanks guys sooo mush i ended up figuring it out in like 5 1/2 hours with case of beer and pack of cigs but it'd done now and i didnt use a manual of anything it was easy after i found all the dash bolts but i really thank ya'll for helping
And By the way I now consider myself mechanically inclined lol

thats why i suggested taking it to a shop..i wasnt implying that it was hard but just a pain it the butt...i did one myself and if i had to do another one i would take it to a shop.....and nice publix yogert cups
