Drivers side window won't go down.

I can hear the motor and guessing maybe it popped off track? I dunno. I took the door panel off but can't see anything at all. Not a big enough hole behind the panel for me to be able to look and see anything. I stuck my arm behind it and I can feel the one gear but not another. Anyone have a diagram that shows how it's put together so I can figure this out? Any help is much appreciated by my g/f as she's needing me to fix it. Thanks.

Scott

Anyone? I tried searching but found only one thead discussing it and that person didn't even bother to take off the panel to try and see what's going on behind it.

Did your motor make any noise though? Mine does which tells me it's getting power and maybe still good. Can't tell how to get it back on track if it's off.

Well, this is the 1st time I've messed with one on these cars and so far it's been a pain in the ass just sticking my hand behind it just trying to figure it out. But I can barely get my hand behind it. So I'm waiting to either get paid and get a manual or have someone help me out. Hoping someone can help out

If you're able to just tell me what I have to do, that'd be MORE than enough for me. I just can't see in there and it's impossible to be able to tell how it's put together and all I'm doing is getting my hand greasy.

Alrighty, well today her car is now officially annoying me. She rolled down the rear window on the same side and now it won't go up. It makes noise but doesn't do anything. I can't even pull it up while pressing the button. So.....the rear window is stuck in the down position when it's suppose to rain every day this week and the front window won't move either. Just my luck. Anyone have any input? I disconnected the harness to the rear window and it doesn't make any noise with it disconnected. Not sure if it's the switch or the motors. Uggghhh!!!!

I guess I'm gonna have to. I at least have 2 other cars so it's not a necessity to drive it. It's a convertible though and a pain in the ass with all that convertible stuff in the way. I'll do it myself cause I can't afford to pay out the butt for someone else to do it. Really wish I had a manual right about now.

Alright, I checked out the rear window today. After taking all the crap out like the seat, panel, etc. etc. I was able to see the motor. It was nice cause I could actually "see" the motor. I unbolted it and hit the switch and the motor worked. Held it up to the gear and hit the switch and the window didn't move. Although I was able to get it up and move it by hand. The motor just wouldn't move it at all. So thinkin maybe both motors on the left side are just going bad and don't have enough strength to get the windows up and down.

Lol, that's the 1st thing I did before even making this post. I can't see anything cause Ford made the access hole WAY small and can just barely even get my hand back there to even feel anything. I've been searching and searching and on other forums and have come up with nothing as far as how to change the motor, etc.

It's a 94. Thanks. It's actually my g/f's though. But of course I'm the only one of us that can fix it between the two of us. Lol.
