Changing the rear speakers on a 2005 Mustang help

Hey everyone I'm new here. I was thinking of changing the 2 rear speakers on my 2005 Mustang. Can anyone tell me what is involved or lead me to an article of some sorts?

Thanks!

My friend is giving me 2 brand new speakers so I was wondering if anyone has changed them. If it's not worth it I just won't change them but wanted some feedback first.

i can help you, what do you want to know? I have an 06 you could do what i did which is ditch your back speakers cuz they really arent needed. I changed out the front for some Rainbow speakers. Then i threw 2 12 in subs in my trunk.

I think it's pretty stupid getting rid of rear speakers, even if you do have a sub...
I would say change the front speakers instead though, you'll hear more of a difference.

dont ever lose speakers. thats like polking one eye out because you have 2. haha i havent worked on any 05+ mustang for a stereo yet so i cant really help you but i will say that you want all four. i have 4 4way 400wat 6x9's and 2 10 inch kickers in the trunk. the subs are ruuning off a 2000 watt amp and the speakers are running independently off the deck and 600 watt koiler. the deck sucks because my good one was stolen. bastards. but if its like the 99-04's i would think you should look in the trunk up at the head rest of the back seat and go from there. go slow because you dont want to break anything you cant replace.
