Another Exhaust thread...yea I know

Ok I know what I want to do with my car, and since I'm starting to work more hours, and I'm fresh out of High School I'm ready to start doin some of this stuff. This is gonna be a twin turbo v6 so I don't know what to do about exhaust. I say that because of the different setups there are for where the turbos are installed(i.e. some are infront of the motor but behind the radiator, and some are on the headers goin towards the back of the car.) I would like my turbos to be mounted infront of the motor but behind the radiator. I would like to find a x-pipe to throw on it, but can't seem to find one. I can only find h-pipes. I know AB is gonna put his input in so remeber I'm pretty sure I have emissions testing here so no o/r pipes until I know for sure what I can and can't do. If I remeber right it's the Delta Flows that sound nice on the sixers. I can't remeber what mufflers do sound nice, and which don't. So some links, and a turn in the right direction is gonna be very appreciated.

yea tma quoted 5.5k. So I'm gonna buy some turbos when I have the money, and then have someone do the piping kit for the headers on back, and an intercooler. Buy the other stuff I need and then throw down some awesome numbers. My budget is growing, but it's gonna take time.

make sure you have the money beforehand. a good rule of thumb to go by is double the price of the turbos for the complete install and everything done. the longer your car is out of commision the more money its wasting. jut a little thought to throw in there

Ok, new question. Is it possible for me to have LT headers, and a twin turbo setup? I am goin for a 99-04 v6 so I can get LT headers. I'm makin my plan now so that once I get the car I can figure out what to do first to get the engine prepped and ready for the turbo, but still do some stuff that I want before I get them.

No, longtubes will not work with a turbo setup. For our cars, your manifold will likely be somewhat custom.

Important thing for turbos so you dont cook your oil and your bearings, purchase a turbo timer as well. if nothing else for your exhaust go to jegs.com and purchase the exhaust tubing and build your own.

I had a feeling it wouldn't work, but kept in the back of my mind there might be some sort of setup that would.

I am def gonna get a turbo timer. I want this to one be turbo setup that will impress anyone. I'm gonna get it done right, and have it monitored right.
