small question about dropping idle

I have a 00 v6 auto. When I drop it into low 2nd the idle surges. It drops real low to 500 for about 2 seconds then goes back up to normal. But it doesn't do this in low 1. Id be happy for someone to say my tanny over anything else cause I'm waiting fo it to go.

it doesnt happen in first just second...i thought you had auto?
this is wierd.
i dont think its a sensor reading it wrong cause it would happen in first or at idle as well.

no its auto but it has 1 2 d n r p... the low 1 and 2 are what I'm refering to. When I come to a complete stop and put it down in second it does it.

I was using the low gears the other day so I could spray above 3000 rpms in first without the window switch... which I am buying soon.
