i asked this before, but i was thinking about getting an x pipe and turndowns before the axle.. what do you guys think? my friend did it and it sounded good..

you should get an h-pipe over an x. the h gives a better sound but maybe 1 less hp than the x. but overall its more worth it than the x

yeah but turndowns make it sound different.. i like WOT loudness better than idle loudness... idk thats just me.. anyone got a clip with a sixer with a x and turndowns? lol i know thats kinda specific..

how do you figure you lose 1hp on our v6s?

just from reading around the forums, thats wut ive gathered. i dot have any specific examples tho. but the main idea there is, h-pipe over x-pipe any day!

on a GT or cobra the x pipe will have more power

but our car has an even firing engine...sadly...which is why niether an H or x pipe will make a power difference. just sound
