Brake Pads

Is it easy to swap out pad yourself on the mustang?
or should i just take it to a shop?

recommendations:
good pads?
new cheap braking systems?

it should not be too bad if you have ever done a break job before and you know kind of what you are doing.

depends
if you just swap the pads you dont have to
if your brake feels spongey i would bleed it.

if you replace a brake hose or caliper then you have no choice in bleeding the brakes..its a must

bleeding the brakes is always a good idea anyway

bendix, hawk, friction master are some good pads

Yes they are. You are going to need to get a pair of vise grips or a Piston remover tool to screw the rear pistons back in on the rear calipers.

They (contrary to what others say) do NOT go back in when a c clamp. If you do push them back in with a c clamp you are going to need a new piston because you have now just fucked the threads up inside of the piston. And 2, you are an idiot to do that. lol. If you use vise grips (a lot easier IMO), do not break the seal.
