gears/rear end question


im looking at getting a rear end and gears but i was wondering if i get gears now and a rear end later will my gears fit the new 8.8

they wont... i know my year rear end were very strong could handle up to 370 h.p or more i dont remember....

u have to do both gears and rear end also tlok cause that way u will save some money...

i know where you can get an 8.8 with 31spline axles, 31spline t-lok, and 3.73s for $450 brand new

I'm sorry for chiming in, but I've been tryin to read up on the gears thing..

just someone give me a straight answer and tell me what I need to get and why on my stock 02 v6 auto.. I keep reading '3.73's' then I read '4.10's for sure on an auto'

please can someone clarify, im beggin you. Ive searched and key word searched the forums for these threads and only came up with tid bits that doesnt clarify.
