Rear End Gears Changed

OK heres the scoop,

I recently had my rear end rebuilt and put in a set of ford 3.73 gears and a tlock.
Now my problem is I need to flash my computer to read the new gears ratio thats all i want to do but my only options are to 1. put in new speedo gears which is about 250 with parts and labor...or 2. get the computer flashed.

now can i flash the computer without buying my own flasher?? as in can i borrow someone elses and just flash it this one time? or do i ineed to spend the 400 plus and buy my own...

comments are extremely helpful...needless to say i am expecting them back from Atlanticblue and Chris which seem to be on a lot of the threads i just read on my spare time...well fellahs your insight is welcomed.

a speedcal will work
best thing is to get a xcal2 or sniper though

someone elses will NOT work
