My First Pony!

2007 Mustang V6 Manual Transmission and 1400 miles on it!!!
It was a theft recovery where the crooks painted a red Mustang black with spray paint. As you can see they also added a pretty little stripe. A Green Stripe! What were they smoking?

So here's my question.
Anyone know if I can remove the spray paint and keep the original paint job?
Or what is the best way to remove all the paint for repainting?(I'd be doing it myself)
If I repaint it, I'm really thinking of painting it Grabber Orange with Silver Stripes.

i know its a honda site but the guy actually knows what he's talkin bout and its a hell of alot cheaper than getting it done at a paint shop

a pro paint job would be a good investment for that. its gonna be more of a headache to sand and prime and paint, unless u already have everything needed and do this regularly. just dish out some cash and get it done right

It's in transit to me right now. I will have it tomorrow night. A family member flew out and is driving it back. He says it handles like a dream.

yea get some sand paper and have at it....

what your going to want to do is get it sanded down and then primmed and ready to got... if you are careful and take your time you wont need to do any rebuilding of the metal... just give it a lot of time and then spray it with primer ... a good coat ... sand again prime sand prime... then take it to a community college and have them spray the actual colour on

then get new windows all around and start loving your car
