windshield wipers

if i take off my windshield wipers do i need a plug to cover the hole that is left or is it alright to leave them uncovered?

if you dont know how to remove them, its really really easy. just pop them off & see.

they make the little deletes for them, but i think they're only needed for cosmetic reasons.

im taking them off cause i dont need them. i dont use them even when its raining cause i have rainx in with my wiper fluid. and i was thinking they were for comestic reasons too but thought i would ask on here to make sure

i say you just get some electric tape and tape up the hole

uhhh, i disagree. i think you'll be able to see it very well.

if you dont want to spend the money:
take them off & paint any parts under it black.
then find a small plug or something to stuff in it (paint it black as well)

you wont be able to see it from the road. of course you will up close

it's just like a white plastic circle. painting them black could work too though...

if you want....you can just take your wipers off, and put them back down a couple notches lower so they just don't show as much. on mine (a 94) it doesn't do a huge difference, but on the new edge I think it does make a pretty big difference.

yeah...get wiper deletes. turns that boring flat piece into a nice pointy billet piece.
