Just a few questions

Ok when i bought my car it was obvious someone had done some modding to it and had taken car of it pretty well. Well one of the owners didnt take good care of the car and the passenger side tail light is screwed up. somehow when they put it on they didnt put the clear cover on it right. So now the clear cover and the red cover doesnt fit right. I tried to take them off and noticed that it looked like the clear part is broken where it snaps in at some places. I didnt try to take it off because i didnt want to break it further. Now my question is, is there anyway to fix that or will i have to replace the covers? and if so how much? The reason i want to fix it is because it gets dirt and stuff in there and looks really tacky.

Ok to my other concern.

what the hell is all that? I know that black box when to an under belly light kit (i assume) but i dont know what all those other wires are. Any thing i can do to keep those from hangin down?

And my final concern is that whoever modded the car took everything with them when they sold it. Thus i have wires hanging from the bottom of my car from where a light kit was and i dont know what to do with them. I plan on putting another kit on eventually so i dont want to completely remove the wireing. And the person also took his sound system but left the stock speakers and the cd player. Only problem is that the 2 rear speakers in the trunk are broke and only 1 of the front speakers work. So my question there is how much would that cost to fix?

Note: All of the wireing for the speakers, light kits, etc are all still there[/img]

well if u wanna keep the wires in there, tape em up and use a zip tie or somethin along those lines to keep em hidden till u need em....as far as the sound system goes, if u got somethin broken its just an excuse to upgrade it

not really true...

all decks have a built-in amp. do you just have the stock deck? you can't really do much with that, cus it's just not powerful enough to power most aftermarket speakers. but just like a pioneer deck for 100 bucks would be fine. speakers don't need to be that expensive either, 50 bucks per speaker should be decent. I would personally spend more but it depends on how good you want it to sound I guess.
You WILL need an amp for subs though...prices vary a lot, and you get what you pay for. but again, pioneer is a pretty good bang for your buck...
and then you need all the wiring and cost of installation. if you're able to install it yourself, do it, but it's a bitch if you don't know what you're doing.
you're looking at probably at least 600 bucks in all for a cheap/simple/weak setup, that's if you put it in yourself. if you want loud and great sound, it'll cost ya a lot more...maybe like..2 grand.

Yeah i dont really want anything big right now as far as a sound system goes. I just want more than the 1 speaker i got going now. I know some people that would install it for me or at least give me a discount on an install so that shouldnt be a problem. Where is a good place to buy this stuff at?

www.hifisoundconnection.com, great prices on stuff there.
people seem to also like www.crutchfield.com, though I have no experience with them.
