CAI + tune..... cost?


so i've been lookin around my area for places that'll tune mystang after i get a CAI n dual exhaust... so far the lowest price was 600 bux for CAI + installation + a dyno tune...

i wanna install buy n install the CAI, but they only do dyno tunes with purchase and installation of something from their shop.... not diggin the 600 tho... how much u think a dyno tune should cost?

I thought it was like 200 bucks. if they don't wana do it with stuff you got somewehre else....just go to another shop and don't mention anything about how JUST got it...say it was from a previous owner or something. and yeah install that CAI yourself, its easy shit, even for me.

you should get more mods than just that before dynotuning it.

just buy a CAI nstall it yourself and no tune for in unless you get headers or TB...lol no tune needed with CAI...

Geezus,who ever quoted $600 for a damn CAI + install and dyno tune is rippin you off. Leave those guys alone.

Even IF ,you got a dyno tune after your CAI ,that would take like what 10 minutes to tune ,lol ? A CAI install is a 5 minute job. It might be 10 minutes with a strut brace.

Dude ,spend $15 on a Haynes manual and teach yourself. Whatever else you dont know,just ask us.

Yea buy a cai for $150 and slap it on in the garage. SUPER EASY!!
