i already photoshopped it and i think they look awesome but i just wanted to see what u guys think b/c all my friends say it will look ugly as hell. i was also thinking about smoking out the rear taillights to match better with the wheels. oh yea by the way. i have the factory stripe on the bottom of the driver door and i wanted to take it off b/c its silver and it will look tacky with the rims. do u think there will be discoloration???

Why is everyone saying a larger rim is going to slow you down, that is not necessarily true. Generally as you go up in rim size the tire you then put on it is going to be smaller so the actual distance to go completely around the rim and tire isnt going to change all that much.

those rims are nice, but instead of just taking off the white strip, why not replace it with a similar black stripe that will accent your car better, if you don't like this and just want it gone then their might be some discoloration depending on how well you or any previos owners have taken care of the paint, if it was washed and waxed regularly then you shouldn't have any problem, also a good dark tint and tinting the tail lights like you were thinking are great ideas, and as for the m in the rims if you really hate it you can get it painted over.

I think 17's or 18's would be fine. just get tires with a lower sidewall and it really wont change your driveability or gas mileage that much at all. bigger rim, smaller tire, same total size...
