Need some thoughts on some headers

I thinking of getting a Mac shorty headers for my 2001 V6 Mustang manual. Please let me know what you think. Im getting it for really cheap for $100 bucks. But i need to buy them soon or else someone else is going to get them so I need some quick opinions.

Well, that's all he has and I want to know how much benefits can i get from it. Do you think it's even worth buying? I have CAI and True dual 40 series Flowmaster on my car right now.

they flow a little bit better than stock, but you wont see much gains.

Here on family feud we polled 100 v6 mustang lovers about shorty headers and the top 5 answers are on the board.

1.) Hell No
2.) don't do it
3.) its not worth it
4.) get long tubes

You may want to get them if you cant get away with longtubes during your inspection. Find that out, and then see what you should do.

yea i got an inspection comming up soon. so can anybody tell me if the LT Headers will past the test.

visually...probably. A lot of states will fail you visually.

i leave in Cali so if it can't pass the inspection then i might as well get the shorty.

right underneath your name it says "newbie" suits you well

actually he doesnt have headers stock. he has exhaust manifolds. there is a difference.

the 94-98 v6's had headers...the 99+ have exhaust manifolds. Stop with the caps also. It's annoying.

dont give out advice when you cant do it right

theres a difference between exhaust manifolds and HEADERS

just like theres a difference between having a BRAIN and NOT have one

clearly we've seen you dont have a brain ...vs. well i normal human like the others that told you how you were dead wrong....

so yes the difference is that big

oh oh i made and analogy for this once... stock is like blowing your nose with a paper towel ... shorties a kleenx they both get the job done... with very little difference
