I know, it's been discussed; shift kits

but I have another particular question that i haven't been able to find the answer to anywhere.

I really want a shift kit, cus auto shifting sucks...but i'm not rich and money is quite limitted.
what is it gonna do to only get a shift improvement kit on its own, and not put in a new shifter and torque converter?
will that still give me better, harder shifts? and will I still be able to shift manually between 1st and 2nd?

I know, I miss him

I don't race or anything so I don't need like hardcore performance...i just want it to have a little more pizzaz. and just the actualy shift kit on its own is pretty cheap, really.

ok lets put it this way

he CLAIMED to be getting sponsors and sent $20k! yes twenty thousand $$ from the fakest member on the site that claim to have a 4.2L engine and a procharger dyno'd at 400rwhp or some made up shit....but no dynos...no pics...the only pictures he claimed to have of his car were proven not to be his car

GF then decided to and is trying to sell his car for $9k LMAO! he got it for less that, and the money he put in it plus what he paid for it, isnt even $9k...so who ever buys it is an idiot
SECOND he's selling it because money issues? something better for gas?
now correct me if im wrong but how the hell can you have money issues with $20,000 check being sent to you and your hp goal is only 400rwhp...

chris he did do a lot of good here tho man...and the sponsor was real, i have the contract that im guessin was offered to GF too...it was ridiculous for a general person, i understand why he didnt do it, bc basically it meant that stanger had u by the balls for the next year

a shift kit, an xcal2 to adjust shift time points, j-mode and torque converter will result in must better, quicker and stronger shifts.

best thing you can do for that tranny...should last through a 10psi turbo with the right torque converter

where to get the stuff and which to get i wouldnt know...im a 5speed guy
ive never looked for auto tranny parts

AB would REALLY be the man for that....MUCH OVER GF

and if you listen to GF...you get your sponsor and put fuckin platinum plugs in your car with a 400rwhp s/c or turbo'd car your looking at those brand new pistons getting a nice burn and hole

Like I said, I don't race, I'm definitely not gonna turbo it...and because it's a 94, i can't use a handheld tuner of any kind. I am planning on getting a chipe eventually but I don't think that can adjust shift time points as far as I know.
what's j-mode?

i got the contract for the sponsorship, cuz i figured hell, if he'd give me money why not take it...but it wasnt for 20k either, it was for 16k..

yea im not sayin he was right about the plugs man, but come on everyone isnt right 100% of the time, give em a break
