Dome light and warning lights question.

I just got my 2007 Mustang and it's a theft recovery. The radio and rear view mirror are gone and going to be replaced but I noticed something weird.
Where the heck is the dome light? Or where is the light supposed to come from when you open the door. It's completely dark in there at night and it's frustrating. My best guess is that it was on the rear view mirror but I'm just wanting to confirm that if possible.
Also I have driver and passenger reading lights I can turn on and one is red and the other is blue. Is that factory or did someone change that?

Since I have no owners manual I don't know much about the specifics of the car. I have a warning light on in the dash that is an exclamation point with a half circle below it. Anyone know what that one is?

99-04 have the light in the center of the ceiling

the courtesy lights are the reading lamps. They are supposed to go on when you open the door. The lights are supposed to be white. Where did you buy this car?

i think hes the one that got the new 07 for 3100 cause it was spray painted black with a green stripe down the middle

Yeah I bought it from someone who had purchased it from a police auction. It's UGLY with the paint job noted by the gentleman above.

they paint it has on it now looks ugly but it wouldnt look bad with the black and green with what they were going with. since you ahve to repaint it might as well get a custom paint job so you will be the only one to have it

It was the reading lights that come on when the doors open. I opened it up and 2 wires were cut. Thanks myeleanor.
