i been gone for a minute but im back and need an opinion

both of my cars are on this sites "garage" im into modding just havent done any and i have access to some really good ford mechanics that are relatives. What I want to know is whats worth my time in the long run modding...my 07 sixer or the 02 v8...the newer car of course has lower miles and the v8 is over 100,000 i think its at 102,000+ i just changed the headlights on the 8 thats as much modification that has been done to it so far and the v6 well it has a ford racing exhaust (single pipe) and some nice rims thats it.

Im asking this because I want to have a car that looks cool but can win most (not all im not a racer but if situation arises..) challeges on the highway

100k on a GT motor isn't much man.. she could use a little beating once in a while.. it'll clean up the valves

ok well i didnt know i never had a car with that many miles didnt want to mod something on its last legs you know what i mean

and the guy helping me mod it is a chevy lover and he was so adamant about modding my 6 and im like why? what the point in that? and his response is if these kids can have 4 cylinder jap cars running like champs why cant you make your 6 do that? i couldnt really respond to him about that one...cept i have a 8 cylnder stang that would be more fun...and i swear if i have to hear him talk about ss this and chevy that ima kill myself its all in good fun tho he is a relative

you could

a) keep the cars & modify one
b) keeps the cars & lightly modify both
c) sell one and heavily modify the other

you probably just got the 07 but
if the miles scare you, the 07 could be sold for a new engine

yeah...i'd actually vote on the 07 for a DD, and make the 02 your project car. it's a V8, it'll take less work for it to go as fast as you might want to make your V6 go. and as long as it's been taken good care of and you keep taking good care of it, high miles won't matter much at all.

mod and build the V8 and only the only thing with miles on it a lot is the paint and body....change the suspension...internals...blah blah...i saw a guy around here with a stock 5.0 hatch...200,000+ miles on it...and drove fine...and looked to nice for the miles and year it was...just chrome tails pipes on it for the exhaust which were giving out
