super clean?


ok well again with my friend and the red celica, he just took off all of his badges and his pin stripping how do you guys feel about taking off the badges from the back of the mustang good or bad idea, just wondering what people would think if they saw me driving down the street.

the back is okay... the side on is a bitch because it leaves a hole in the side of the fender... don't know why ford did it that way... who would want to steal a 6er badge?

so just fill the holes and get it painted.. probably spend a hundred bucks to get it done... just find some paint shop in the ghetto to do it for cheap!!hhahaha

Actually they do this to make alignment of the emblems at the factory easy and cheap. I personally would not touch the job for $100, the materials will cost at least $200 to paint and blend the two fenders... but you might find a cheap place that will work within your budget. Just a thought. Good luk though.

As a Hot rod builder, I have done a LOT of body work. If you have any questions on how to properly do the shave, let me know and I will help out any way I can. As far as paint/refinish, that can be outsourced if you are not too comfortable with a spray gun.

yea it comes off easy with some simple green to take of the residue and all you need is fishing line to pull it off after your heat it up for a min looks really nice i think.

yea the back one is just glued on... the side one has a whole

thinking about it you could just get a piece of metal... shave the paint back on the side... and tack the metal in thier then weld it sand it filler sand prime paint
