window tint


ok well i took my car in to get a tint job done and they are telling me that on the rear window they can only tint up the the little black dots well i dont think thats going to look to good does any one know if they are only saying that because its a hard job or because you just cant do it. and they are charging me $240 after tax for 25% in th front and 15% in the back. please tell me what you think.

you can shave the black dots off. they're probably just saying that because they don't want to do it, or because they don't think you want them to.

but make sure they don't shave the heat lines off.

really is that something the tint place will do if i ask them to or do i have to do it my self.

first off complete rip off for 240, i got my whole car 15% and it cost around 125 after tax, plus my place has a lifetime warrenty, so just find a different place cause there on drugs if they are charging 240

yea but i didn't think it was that bad because they use 3m tint and i also get a lifetime warrenty does any one else remember how much they paid so i know if im getting ripped off?

i would get pulled over so fast up here in ohio with tint like that but it looks really nice i think.

theyre chargin me 180 but thats cuz i already have tint on mine and they will shave off the dots and they are saving the defrosters so yeah big rip off...

You can now buy pre cut tint for your mustang at Advance Auto Parts. You can buy them individually so if you just want to buy the back glass tint you can. It comes in 5 through 35 percent.
