try www.mrbodykit.com
or www.abcexclusive.com I haven't compared that much stuff between the two, but from what I've seen, abcexclusive is cheaper. I don't even know what urethane is.

Urethane is better IMO because instead of cracking when you hit/catch it on something it gives. Fiberglass will crack and give you that ever popular busted front clip ricey look.

If its the same poly-fiber Im aware of...
Its mainly used in the aircraft industry and its been around for like 30 years. Its a vinyl coating that adhears to polyester. Its real flexible and can be fixed real easy ( like holes n crap). It weathers real well too. Very tolerant to heat, cold and water etc. I dont see why it wouldnt be perfect for a car part. Think about it, if its good enough for the strain of flight, then there isnt anything a V-6 can throw at it that will hurt it. I strictly use poly-fiber for my choice of underwear. |

do you think it'll bust like fiberglass if it hits a speed bump?

I wouldnt know. I mean, birds n shit bounce off airplane bodys without too much damage. Sometimes they put holes in them. Its hard to tell.
I can tell you that its very flexible and very easy to fix. Easier than fiberglass or sheet. I worked at an airpot for some time as a lineman. Poly seemed to be a pretty good coating. Im just not sure though. I wouldnt base a purchase of over $50 on my opinion of this shit. I dont know enough about it. Maybe someone who has bought it will see this thread... |
