Instrument Lights

i recently purchased a 1998 Mustang 3.8 and when i turn the lights on, the instrument panel lights dont come on. we think it may be a fuse, but i want another opinion. any ideas?

turn your head lamp knob counter clock wise does this change the lap issue?? could be the dimmer is set all the way to off. or it could very well be a fuse or a defective switch. or bad wiring those are basically ur only options.

i highly doubt its a fuse cuz your cluster ilumination, head lamp switch and exterior lights all run off the same fuse.

could it be a burned out light bulb?

I'm thinking bad wiring makes sense though.
