subs
Ok this isn't really mustang typer stuff but they are going in a mustang so here is the deal. I have two 12" subs, each of them can handle 550 watts. I have one amp that puts out 580 watts and another that puts out 340. I know nothing about subs, so whats the best way to get the most power out of these things? All I can think of is to ajust the 580 watt amp to 340 and hook one amp to each sub so that both amps are putting out 340...is that right?

u can do that but i wouldnt recommend it, get u somethin that "matches" it....sell both the amps and get a bigger one that u can run two channels off of

buy one nice 1200 watt amplifier - curious q: what subs & what amp(s)?
