Mustang GT grill question
Hello fellas,
I just bought my son a new Mustang, non-GT with an employee discount. Now he really wanted a GT but it was just too expensive. So now he would like to buy a GT grill with the fog lamps and some GT emblems to put on the side front fenders. Does anyone have an experience with modding a regular mustang with that? If so please give me tips on weather I should look to buy it from an individual or a website. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Tell him GT badges are meant for GT cars.......save him the harassment and embarrasment he will get on the road for the GT badges...he must like hondas because badges dont give HP and they dont improve looks when it doesnt belong on the car...

the grills on the GT look really nice. so IMO that would be a good thing to get to make the car look nice. but its a no no on the GT badges.
and IF, IF, he were to get the badges, he would need to get dual exhaust and a new bumper so someone wont look at it and see the GT and be like oh thats a... oh... its only a 6, he was one exhaust pipe but seriously, dont let him get the badges. tell him to be happy with his new mustang and stop whinning lol |

Well hell...if you gonna badge the car wrong at least get GTR badges, and only on the fenders.

Hay its gotta be done right an R would also be appropriate in this case...Oh ant to the thread starter, buy from a person. It makes for cheaper modding

Thanks guy's,
I think the grill idea is the only thing we would consider. The homemade badge job would just be trash. I like the GT grill and that is where we will look into. Thanks again.

He is completely aware that anything that he does to his car is approved by me before it is done and he is aware that he will pay 100% of it.
He's a good kid, has a well paying job that he likes and is in a really good position in his life for his age. So no he will not go 'mod crazy' and spend all my money, better yet any of it.
