M-40 HORSEPOWER ENHANCER CHIP QUESTIONS

Hey I have a 2000 Ford Mustang with a 3.8L V6. I just bought a horsepower performance chip. Its an M-40 horsepower enhancer. I know it goes in the air intake area, but i cant find the direct spot. I need to know where to put the chip. If i could get some ideas, that would be great. thanks

Yea, the advertisement said it wouldnt do anything like that or harm the car. IT has a warranty, so could just use that. But i just wanted to try the chips out. Havent done them before. Will probably get some bigger and more bad ass ones later on.

thats true, but i am just starting out. You know what i was gonna do? I have a Ford 402 engine that i was going to work on putting in the car this summer. Would have been a real project with all the shifting of the frame and all that goodies. What do u think about that? Would have done good.

it forces your system to think the air it's bringing in is colder than it really is and says this is going to improve power....

anything at all that is that cheap and claims an increase of 40HP is a scam. Power costs money, period. any computer chip under $250 is just going to fool your car into doing something it shouldn't be doing, as mentioned earlier.

I understand the whole "it's so cheap so I'm just gonna try it anyway", cus you wanna see what it does...if you absolutely HAVE to try it, put it on, go for a bit of a drive, see how it does nothing for you, and take it off right away.
