Insurance isn't that bad. I spend about $10 more a month on insurance on my GT than on my v6.

SSS - I haven't looked into the s/c's for the sixxers so I don't know when they start to make boost. You sixxer guys are extremely lucky to have a guy like Andy doin these kits for the guys who don't know much about turbos since he is a great guy to work with and knowledgable about the 3.8L and turbos.
yeah but how old are u? since i've been 17 even under my dads ins. i've been paying $3300 bucks!

You cant put a turbo on then do headers.

A built h/c/i 4.2L (s3)from ssms will smoke a stock gt
a turbo 4.2(^) will own a cobra

I love when people compare stock cars against modded cars...shows how bad ass the modded car is.......a SC GT will have no problem with a Turbo V6...and a Turbo GT will sure as hell have no problem with Cobras...let alone a V6....and Cobra that are not stock will own cars....how does a KB cobra or a 3.4 Whipple one hold against s Turbo V6 ? or a Turbo Cobra and a Turbo V6.......

Nice point. but the extra $$ you spend on the gt and the supercharger. You could make a v6 way faster.

thats another good point made!! Mustang_guy should be sayin TOOCHEY(however u spell it) right now!!LOL

but this is just like the saying... "there's always someone bigger and badder than u are"... just like the shelby gt500 will get owned once the 09' twin turbo skyline gtr comes to the states... not gonna beat a dead horse here but a cobra should be ashamed of himself if he gets beatin by a 6 and should probably give up his car!!

oh no i know about that... but the gtr is $70k and the basic shelby is that price too... actually i got a price of $60k froma dealership in my town today but most are $70k!! but buck for buck the gtr would take the shelby... and i'm pretty sure even the 600hp one thats out too, but i wouldn't count on that loosin! the 600 and 750 shelbys look pretty sweet..u know how much they're goin for?

yeah but the problem with the shelby is its over 4000lbs which is the problem right there...also if i may add the car makes about 420rwhp stock...which isnt anything special because of the weight...now you take a stock C5 Z06 with 405hp at the crank or a stock base C6 and they both are as fast as a stock GT500 with 500HP...because of weight ratio blah blah....now Ive been to the track with Justin Starkey and his GT500 with pulley and intake...and he runs low 13s...bad driver ? maybe...maybe its the track...on a roll it would be a different story when comparing how quick it is but the weight is just horrible
