I got a 2002 ford mustang covertible and i want to lower it


My mustang came with 16 inch rims i just put in 18 inch saleen chome cobra rims front is 245-40- 18 rear is 265-35-18 the problem is that now the car is about 5 inches from the bumper to the tire is way too mutch i know the rear tires are small they should be 295-305 cuss the rear rim is by 10 but i already bought the tires so next time i wil fix that . the question is there are allot of people selling lowering kits from different companies but what spring company is good?
how mutch should i try to lower it ?
and what would i have to do once i get there do i have to change allot of parts ?
please help me guys

try eibach or steeda ... ford c springs out back... if you wanted...

here are the springs now you might be able to do some shopping for lower prices

you'll also need c/c plates.

I'd be kinda scared
Your stretching those tires.

Find good springs, and do a 1.5-2" drop

nah you can stretch a tire so much with out worrying about performance... i have seen 2-3 inches or stretching... he is only at about an inch or so
