weird noise?

I have a 99 v6 mustang and i have a slight ticking noise when i hit the gas my freind who used to work at ford says its prob my injectors any one else have any ideas please comment on i hate that noise

well its kinda like metal to metal but its not to loud but its noticable so imnot to sure but i just want it to go away

go run some slick 50 through it and see if it helps.

Also what kinda mileage you got on it? Not to sure but higher mileage valves need adjusted?? Sorry been awhile since I been into an engine.

well thanks for all the help guys i appericiate that and with the oilits always filled or almost filled change it when due all the time i have 84000 on it but she runs fine i just hate the nnoise

hmusn what do u mean slick 50 what is that and how do i do it

it's an oil treatment.

you can buy the kit at any auto parts store.
