found a cam
ok so i called ssms and they told me with my setup (not being ported or forged or heads etc..) i should get a 212/218 cam (for $398)... and i would not need different push rods... but i would need a different spring and retainer kit ($245)... and he said it would give me 25-40 hp!!... i just thought i would let u guys know cause there has been alot of questions about cams lately...

yea cept he hates me cause i went of on him for not being helpful... i asked specifics on porting and polishing... he told me its on his sight ... i was like you know what i have been trying to find it and i can't so i turn to you and you don't have the info wtf ... what ever... he was like here is a link... and it didn't even have the right shit i wanted...
the next day i apologized and haven't talked to them since

lift/ .55/.55... rockers/ 1.7... LSA/ 110... Lobe is xtreme (what ever that means)...

it lifts the valves... the 2** numbers are the lobe duration... the .55 is how far it lifts the valve 110 is the valve angle
and what it means by extreme is that it will be open a while longer then stock... its a good naturaly aspirated cam...

if you were really serious about building an engine i would wait and spring the extra money for forged internals. although that cam does sound pretty good.

I would wait and buy the whole package at once. That way you only have to pay for labor once.
