Engine Swap
Hey, ive got an 88 4cyl mustang that i want to drop my 02 v6 into. would this be garage swap possible?

for the 4 cylinder to 6 swap??
in 88 the electronics used were minimal... in 02 that thing was as wired as an ipod... you would need a new wiring harness and new transmission... a lil rear end work and some engine bay work

yea whats wrong with the original? do you have it readily available? was it wrecked or something??
i would tell you to get your hands on the rest of the car... that way if you need something like the K member or a small bolt its their for you

got it from a friend who dropped in an 8 and stripped it down for racing.. haha i guess i just got lucky |

yea you did... that swap should be okay... you should not have problems with the steering or K member... hopefully the car your about to work on isn't your daily driver... it might be in your garage for a month
