99-04 3.8L smog pump (secondary air injection)
Failure Codes:
P0411: The PCM has determined that the flow detected in the secondary air injection system is incorrect for the current engine operating conditions. P1414: SAI System Monitor Circuit High Input Failure Causes: - due to poor design of air inlet tube the smog pump tends to take in water/moisture which inturn sits in the bottom of the rubber cup that surrounds the motor and causes it to rust. - electric motor bearing failure, causing seizing.
