Do the tips affect the sound or just for the appearance? I have the option to get tips as well obviously, any recommendations on that too?

I am trying to add as much black to my car as possible because it is all silver. Do they even offer anything like this? Now that I"m thinking about it I don't think I've ever seen black exhausts...so I wonder if that would like tacky as all hell. Maybe I should just stick with the chrome...

ohh and tips also can give some resonance... turndowns compared to normal chrome tips will not sound the same.. tho i dont find too much change on sounds and its not the same a 2"tip compared to a 4" one.. sound will be a lil different
