2004 v6 with lots of error codes

I have a 2004 that I've put cold-air intake, and long-tube headers on.

I had a cat-back system before, and my 'check engine' light came on. I had the code erased, and it didn't come back. Then I put headers on, and the light came on and stayed.

Just this week I tried to install MIL eliminators. I may have installed them incorrectly - i had to cut the wires on my o2 sensor because it was too hard to reach the clip. I wired them back together, now I have about 10-11 error codes.

The codes are all: "EVAP emission control system purge valve c malfunction and vent circut malf", and "sensor heat circut malf (both banks and sensors)", "sensor stuck lean (both banks, sensor 1), "EGR Flow circut malf", and "o2 sensor ckt slow response (both banks)".

Is it because I cut the o2 sensors? And most likely wired it in incorrectly, or is there something else wrong? I've blown two spark plugs in the last 2 months, and I want to make sure there is not a bigger problem.

Should I get new o2 sensors and wire the mil eliminators back in 'correctly' (i didn't pay attention to the specific direction when installing them).

I think you answered your own question... You don't necessarily have to replace the sensors just make sure you have the wiring correct. Most likely you have the wires reversed and just need to switch them.

I would have to agree that you more than likely wired the MIL eliminators incorrectly and need to ensure that you have them wired correctly because it sounds to me that your PCM is misreading your emissions and reading too lean and dumping more fuel in than is necessary.

I hope you didnt cut the wiring to the front sensors too. You need to spend the $60 and get the high heat resistent O2 sensor extenders and MIL eliminators and new sensors front and rear for a couple hundred total. You messed it all up hacking into the wiring, I bet. I have long tubes and no codes, but I spent the money and got new harware/sensors/wiring
