squeeking from the rear end....

theres this squeek that comes from the rear end al the time and its freaking annoying. if im at a stop or standing still and you get out and push up up and down on the back of the car it doesnt squeek but if you push it side to side left to right then it does like crazy...and even something when im going down the road hitting rough pavement, taking off from stops and shit like that....becoming really annoying and i cant figure it out...i thouight maybe the shocks or struts or whatever but wouldnt that be up and down? when it squeeks?

I've had that problem, do you here it sometimes when your on a bumpy road? its most likely your shocks just need to be tightend up. I thought I had messed somthin up but when I got to the shop the mechanic laughed and said hold on, 30 seconds later he was lowering my car. he did it for free because it was nothin.

You might also want to take a look at the upper/lower rear control arms. If the bushings are getting old these can squeak as you drive and particularly if you go over rough spots.
