5 psi help

ok some newb questions here. i know what im doing but i need some outside answers. always good to here from as many people as possible.

im trying to run 5 psi of boost or more. i need a few parts to do this.

what size fuel pump should i run and does anyone know where to get one cheap?

i've heard people say things like fuel return line and fuel pickup, and fuel rails for return system. do they mean get bigger rails to flow more fuel? and fuel pick up im just lost on. i dont really know what hes talking about there.

thanks for the help every one.

how do u plan on making boost ? 39#lb injectors can be got from a stock 03-04 Terminator.....use a 90mmMAF stock from a terminator as well....255lph fuel pump from a SVT Focus or you can get a Walbro 255 as well....they will run you about 100 for the one pump needed

he needs one that doesn't return... you have a return less style fuel system

they switched that in 98

right its for my turbo system with this beefier stuff i can go more than 5 psi. there were just a few things i didnt understand what this guy was talking about. like when he was saying the fuel return system. i know that after 98 there is no return so i didnt know what he was talking about and then he said something about his fuel rails and i was thinking was wanted bigger ones or something

might be able to but your runnin returnless

thats why the splitport swap is best from ssms cause they mod the fuel rail to not be a return

let me look really quick for a pump
the only thing you need bigger is injectors... pick em up off any cobra ... im not sure what size the 01 ish ones are... but those might be a bit better then the 39# off the termis just cause they aren't as massive

true true... good call... when you go up their just steal one!!

fuel injectors... thats what goes into the head... and mixes fuel with air before it enters the cylinder

you want ones off a new edge cobra not terminator...

Pump - fous 255
Injectors - 39# on up
Rails - really not needed at 5psi
Lines - are fine

I have spoken.

who are you??

will the focus one work??

and for 5 psi... if you are not putting out more then 300 horse power... the stock GT ones would even work... at 19#

i personally just see 39# as over kill but thats just me

Yes the focus pump will work, its the recommended pump of choice.

yeah the focus is a upgrade for the V6s and GTs....but that VMP 310 pump is what people really look for...because I heard there was a 310 focus pump but i can never find it other then a 255....just like a lot of other people heard of a focus with a 310
