Do i have an alarm?

Whenever I hit my lock button 2x on my remote, My cars horns honks. Does this mean i have an alarm..? I tried arming my fake alarm and then bumping into my car and it did nothing . So is it an alarm or is this normal for our cars. Also if i do have an alarm is thier a way to turn it on?

i've never seen a mustang in particular do that, but lots of other cars are like that, where it doesnt have an alarm but it still honks basically just to let you know that it's locked.

what kind of alarm are you talking about?? try this

arm you car but leave the windows down... then reach in unlock from the inside and open to door... if it goes off you have an alarm... its just not a bump sensitive one

I have a alarm system and so does my dad and brother and all cars have a led that flashes bright enough to light the whole car up for a complete second so check for a flashing led at night...
