getting new mid pipes


k so im looking to make convert my exhaust into true dual
i need a mid pipe (i think)
what i have now is
- stock headers ( will be replaced )
- stock y pipe
- mac dual cat back http://www.macperformance.com/store/...Product_ID=316

i want my car to have a mean sound ya no
what could i do

their is no difference between shorties and stock... cept one has a slightly different pipe shape to it

You want real mean, start saving for a 4.2 with a huge cam.

4.2 will help though, more air. But you already know that. I have a huge cam in my 3.8, maybe one of the biggest for a mustang. I know the supercoupe guys have really huge.

If you plan to get a GT then why mod the current car. Just use that money for a down payment or mods for the GT when you get it.

Why do you want a GT anyway?

hopefully ill have a gt
i dont have the money for that right now but
i do have the money to mod my 3.8L so y not?
i want a gt because its a true mustang
nothing against the 3.8L i love mine
but i just think they are more aggressive ya no and looks a lot better and if i get a gt ill pay it off right when i get it so i dont worry about payments
