Windstar intake gains?

I was wondering how much a windstar upper intake would increase the hp. I'm not expect dyno results of 30 hp or anything but around 5-10 would be nice. Then fabricate a custom intake i'd be set. Is it worth the trouble if I go snag one out of a junk yard or something?

On a more technical note since some people can't stay on topic -

The windstar intake mainfold is good for nitrous applications because of the runner design. No dyno proven gains have been made with one as of yet.

It was also good for TMA's twin turbo kit since it was in an optimal location.

anyways...pends on the plans with your car Orangester....which are what exactly ?......you can go on Muscle Mustangs website and read up on the issue with the SSMS green V6 notch about the intake on top...or call them up and ask about adapting it...i know theres a thread with someone who did it posted pics and guide lines about it...if someone can pull this up......

p.s. i hope this gets SSStangs approval

3.8mustangs.com has a full write up on how to do it check them out... use the search tool ... they usually manage to stay on topic too...

hmm i think i want to hear more opinions from ssstang. haha. i like the way the windstar intake looks compared to ours. i just dont think its worth the troble. and dont go to a junk yard to get one man. dont put junk in your car. lol
