the drive shaft is universal it will fit a crown vic a gt or a v6 stang. also will fit most 2WD f150 trucks and rangers. not the 4wd cuz of the transfer case the drive shaft is shorter.

It's an ok mod if you can do it for cheap or you have ~$225 to blow. You're not really going to notice a big difference with an al/ds. The al/ds weighs 13.5 lbs, the stocker weighs 25.25 lbs. Less rotation mass yes, but the mass is very close to the axis. You may or may not notice gains in acceleration. I noticed a slight (if any) gain, but I also installed an al/fw and 10.5" diameter clutch. I also feel more harmonic vibrations in the car. Steel does a better job of dampening than aluminum. I'm also using MMS lcas that use spherical bushings on one end (they don't help with vibrations).

BTW: My highway MPG dropped about 2-3 with these aluminum componants. Remember, less rotational mass to stay in motion (Newton). My best was ~33. Now it's the mid 29s.

I still don't understand why your mpgs would drop? It's lighter and takes less power to spin it?..
