Single or twin?
what are you using for headers?
and what turbos?
And what boost are you going to run?

Have fun, when you get past the headers its an easy job(kinda)

So how much boost do you plain to run? And what turbo is it? Or what dodge did it come from?

Aha,
Anyway you don't NEED one but its the best (fastest) way to do it.

(assuming your talking about the electronic ones)

you know how many people have been "building their own turbo kit" for a WHILE now...2 weeks lol...i'll check back in like 2months

and put it this way....if you dont know why you need a boost controller...you shouldnt be building your own kit.

and if you have a 7 psi spring....you cant boost any lower then that

i hope you have forged internals if you plan on going past 10psi

and a tune for anythign over 4psi
and even a little handheld tuner with a tune on it for the turbo for 4psi is a good idea

^ Exactly.....set springs are set on a certain psi setting......a turbo timer is not needed if u remember to just sit in ur car for 30 or so seconds before you shut it off everytime...just like when u start the car u should wait as well with a turbo/SC....and even a reg. car as well.....but not needed....tuning will be needed like chris said 4+....which of course when u get use to 4 ur gonna want more....and running 10+ without forged internals....means either u have a lot of spare parts lol...or ur confident nothing can happen...I think running 10psi with a conservative might be pushing it...but i need to...when running chris and maximus when the day comes
