Back breaks sticking

My back breaks are starting to stick i notice that my car is sluggish some times and the rims are heating up. anything i should be looking for before replacing the calipers? id rather not replace them if i don't have to.

Have you tried taking them apart and lubing the sliders up with anti-seize?

well see this is the funny thing. the one slider (closest to the front) on both sides moves freely but the rear ones (closes to the back obviously) are solid and do not move at all. i thought this was normal but now i think it may not be cuz every car ive done breaks on the caliper pins moves freely and if they didnt it wasn't right.

input?

There are two sliders per caliper and if one side is sticking that is likely the problem.

I would try lubing the sliders and check if the pistons turn.
rebuilt calipers are available if the pistons are frozen.

see both rear sliders on each side r rock solid. and this isnt normal? cuz i didnt think so but they dont apear to be designed to move.... i thought they should though would explain why the back breaks feel so fucked up.

the rear brakes on mustangs are screw type pistons.

they are not supposed to move freely like the fronts.

no no i know that bro i mean the caliper pins the ones closest to the front ofthe car move ffreely but the ones on the rear of the caliper where the other pin goes through and tightens in its seizes solid so when the breaks are applies and the piston moves the caliper will bind and its getting stuck. i knew exactly why this is happening now guys cuz u guys got my brain working with the sugestions i know what the issue is the caliper pins are sticking causing the caliper piston to engage the pad cockeyed.
