brake pads

for the average guy, are changing the brake pads a tough job? It makes me a little leary to try (dont want to screw the brakes up for obvious reasons). Ive changed the fuel filter and oil and stuff like that. If I screw up a fuel filter, it probably wont put me in a dangerous situation the way messed up brakes will. I'm solo down here also. Is it something one person can do?

Any tips or tricks would be much appreciated....

brakes are easy man.

one tip... when you take the caliper off... don't let it hang I use 2-3 thick rubber bands and strap it to the strut myself.

just bring your computer out to your car and a live camera and I will walk you through it

that way if you are about to jack something up I can yell at you before you do.
