It's the control arm bolts that hold the front sway bar on. It's right there where it connects to that puny little shock (not the main strut). Once it get's really loose, not only will the vibrating move to a higher speed, like 72-75 M.P.H. but you'll start hearing all the crap rattle because as the bolts become more loose over time, so do all the parts associated with the tightness of the bolts. Here's the problem, you think you are tightning this part but if you could see inside the deep socket you are using, everything is turning, throwing the torque specs out the window, rendering the part useless...... unless you get lucky enough to get this piston back to where it's supposed to be......... That magic spot where you can finally tighten everything and not get that annoying rattle from every part associated with the front sway bar. Good luck and thanks for buying a Ford.
